Capacity is normally sized on bed count and local practice: a clinic or small facility is served by a one or two-cell unit, a mid-size hospital by three cells, and a large hospital or forensic institute by six or nine. If you tell us your bed count and average length of stay in the mortuary, we will recommend a configuration.

The refrigerator holds +2 to +8 °C for routine short-term preservation. The freezer version runs at −10 to −20 °C for long-term cases: unidentified remains, cases awaiting forensic examination, or extended repatriation. Any cell configuration can be supplied in either version.

Standard units restart automatically when power returns. We strongly recommend the UPS-backed alarm option, which keeps the temperature alarm live during an outage, and the emergency cooling option for facilities where outages are frequent. Multiple independent cooling units are also available so a single compressor failure does not compromise the whole cabinet.

Preservus mortuary equipment carries a 5-year warranty, and standard configurations ship within 6 to 10 weeks of a confirmed order. After-sales support is handled by our own local engineers in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, with a 48-hour response time and spare parts held for at least 10 years after a model is discontinued.

All body-contact surfaces and cabinet interiors are AISI 304 stainless steel across the Preservus range. It is specified because it withstands repeated chemical disinfection without pitting or staining, unlike painted or lower-grade steel, which degrades within a few years in this environment.

Yes. Every unit is delivered, positioned, connected and temperature-tested on site, and we hand it over with a written commissioning record. Our teams cover Saudi Arabia and Egypt directly, and for export markets we work through the appointed local partner in that country.

Yes. Cell dimensions can be adjusted, the standard cell and tray load is 200 kg with a bariatric option for heavier cases, and an inside-release feature is available to prevent anyone being trapped inside. Other options include multiple cooling units, deodorisers, universal door locking, emergency cooling and UPS-backed alarms.

We don't publish fixed prices, because the price depends on the number of cells, whether you choose a refrigerator or freezer version, the options fitted (for example a UPS-backed alarm or emergency cooling), any custom cell dimensions, the delivery city, and the installation terms. Our Madinah factory holds SFDA local-manufacturer licence ML-2023-MD-0885, and our quality management system is certified to ISO 13485:2016 (certificate UKS-MDQMS-25-005, valid to January 2027), with a scope that covers hospital furniture and mortuary refrigerators. Products made in Madinah carry the Saudi Made mark, and we send copies of the licence, the ISO certificate and product datasheets for your supplier file or tender submission.

No. Preservus mortuary equipment is not among the items awarded to Medica-Lab on NUPCO framework NPT0027-24, which is a medical-furniture framework. Hospitals and forensic institutes buy Preservus refrigerators, freezers and autopsy equipment through a direct purchase order or tender, using the same SFDA licence and ISO 13485:2016 certificate we supply for any order.
