Mortuary Refrigerator — One Cell

A mortuary refrigerator is a refrigerated stainless steel cabinet that holds the deceased at a controlled temperature until release or further examination. The MLM-01E is a one-cell version in 304 stainless steel, sized for clinics and small facilities that need this equipment in a limited floor area.

Preservus mortuary refrigerators, including the MLM-01E, hold +2 to +8°C for standard chilling. The same cabinet can instead be ordered as a freezer, running at −10 to −20°C, for facilities that need longer-term storage rather than short-term chilling before release.

The MLM-01E holds one body in a single internal cell measuring 550 × 700 mm, which can be customised to order. It suits clinics and small facilities that need a hospital-grade mortuary refrigerator without the floor space for a multi-cell cabinet. The standard load per cell or tray is 200 kg, with a bariatric option available for heavier cases.

The MLM-01E runs on a 0.50 HP cooling unit on a 50–60 Hz power supply, with 3-phase 380 V / 50 Hz available as an option, and is rated for a working ambient temperature of 32 °C. It is delivered, connected and temperature-tested on site with a written commissioning record.

Standard Preservus units restart automatically once power returns. For the MLM-01E, a UPS-backed alarm is available to keep the temperature alarm active during an outage, alongside an emergency cooling option for sites where power cuts are frequent.
