Mortuary Refrigerator — Two Cells

A morgue fridge is usually called a mortuary refrigerator: a refrigerated stainless steel cabinet with separate cells that keeps the deceased at a controlled temperature. The MLM-01 is the two-cell version in the Preservus range, built in 304 stainless steel for clinics and small hospitals.

The MLM-01 holds +2 to +8°C for standard chilling, the same range applied across every refrigerator in the Preservus range. It can also be supplied as a freezer at −10 to −20°C when a facility needs longer-term storage instead of short-term chilling.

The MLM-01 holds two bodies, one per cell, in a single stainless steel cabinet. A horizontal two-door version is also available under code MLM-01H for rooms where the ceiling height does not suit the standard vertical layout. Delivery includes on-site installation, connection and temperature testing. The standard load per cell or tray is 200 kg, with a bariatric option available for heavier cases.

The MLM-01 runs on a 0.75 HP cooling unit on a 50–60 Hz power supply, with 3-phase 380 V / 50 Hz available as an option, and is rated for a working ambient temperature of 32 °C. It is delivered, connected and temperature-tested on site with a written commissioning record.

Standard Preservus units restart automatically once power returns. The MLM-01 can be ordered with a UPS-backed alarm, which keeps the temperature alarm active during an outage, and an emergency cooling option for sites where power cuts are frequent.
